Question What Should I Eat?
Hello,
So, I haven't made much progress with the whole weight gaining thing and 6 months later I'm still ~133lbs and not counting. I've noticed an increase in appetite, but that's not really putting the pounds on. I think that makes me a "hardgainer" so something like that, right? I guess I'm just not taking the right approach and wasting my time doing the wrong exercises. Everyone keeps telling me to JUST BAD EAT but I don't know how to start a new diet, or else I'd be willing to try.

So, my real question is what are the best weight-gaining foods that I have easy access to? A lot of people are recommending different things but I don't know shit about Protein and Carbs other than I lack both. Some people are suggesting that I have 6 lighter meals a day, but I'm thinking maybe 5 tops. Any ideas on that? Also, if anyone could recommend an exercise plan, that would be phenomenal... I was spending 40 min a day doing different stuff and nothing really happened. I felt stronger after a few weeks but muscle mass (or lack of) remained the same.

RE: What Should I Eat?
It is good if you eat some food before your exercise, It can help you sustain longer, more intense workouts.Early morning exercisers have an added advantage of having the rest of your day to eat, recover, and grow. Also, not eating right before going to bed can aid in muscle stimulus and growth.

RE: What Should I Eat?
I realize you want to gain weight, but you need to make sure you do it with a healthy diet. You don't want to get high blood pressure or bad cholesterol because of eating badly. Basically in order to gain weight, you want to eat more meats for breakfast, lunch and dinner. You could also add more carbs like pastas and breads. There are low-carb diets that basically promote the eating of proteins like bacon and eggs and steaks but cut out carbs like breads and pastas. There are also protein powders like whey which you can mix in with a smoothies or milk shake.

RE: What Should I Eat?
It is nice to eat something before the exercise. The reason is that we can get the energy to do the exercise. I prefer to take fruit juice because it gives the better energy and it is the light way for the stomach which comfort for the exercise.
